Melghat — a dense, quiet stretch of forest in Maharashtra — has long been home to vibrant tribal communities who carry generations of wisdom in their hands. For decades, bamboo has been more than a material here; it has been a companion, a livelihood, and a cultural craft passed from one artisan to another.

In 1995, this potential was recognized by Sampoorna Bamboo Kendra (SBK), an organization that began training young artisans, developing bamboo-based innovations, and building a platform where rural skills could transform into dignified employment. Over the years, their work expanded into artisan cooperatives, skill-upgradation programs, and sustainable design, turning Melghat into a hub of eco-friendly craftsmanship.

Our journey is deeply connected to this region and the people who shape its identity. By partnering with trained artisans of Melghat, we create a bridge between traditional rural craftsmanship and global markets that value authenticity and sustainability. Each bamboo product we source carries the story of an artisan whose livelihood is strengthened through fair, long-term opportunities.

Alongside bamboo handicrafts, we curate eco-friendly bagasse tableware and premium cotton table linen from Vidarbha—a region known for its rich cotton heritage. Across all categories, our focus remains the same:
